John Ryan Landscaping Consultant

John Ryan started working in the landscape construction industry back 1968. He spent a few years honing his skills at a local landscaping company before deciding to launch his own business “Ryan’s Landscaping” in 1974 which offered a wide range of residential and commercial landscaping construction services, as well as a landscape supply centre and plant nursery. 

John retired from the landscaping game just a few years ago, handing the business over to his sons (John jnr. & Jamie) who have since shifted their main focus toward the construction aspect of the industry and now call themselves “Ryan Bros Landscaping and Excavation”. 

During this transitional phase, John started noticing there was a lack of basic knowledge available for the average person interested in doing their own DYI landscaping projects. John decided this was a great opportunity for him to be able to share his years of knowledge with those who are more interested in getting their hands dirty and doing things for themselves.
